and select your preferred Fragrance or Essential Oil.
Option 1 - Using Single Cavity Moulds
Step One Dice the kilo of soap base into 1 - 2cm pieces. Place the soap base into the microwave safe
jug and melt in bursts until liquid - take care not to overheat.
Step Two Add Fragrance or Essential Oil and stir well to combine.
This graphic shows a blue bottle of isopropyl alcohol - this is not necessary but if you have it on hand you can use it to sprints away surface bubbles.
Step Three Keeping the jug low to the mould rim, carefully pour the soap into the mould cavitites.
Step Four If you have isopropyl alcohol on hand you can use it to sprints away surface bubbles..
Now allow the soap to cool and set up fully before attempting to unmould.
Once cold, carefully release the air lock and peel the mould back from the the soap.
Step Five Done! Wrap or store in an airtight jar.
Option 2: Using multiple cavity mould
Step One Dice the kilo of soap base into 1 - 2cm pieces. Place the soap base into the microwave safe jug and melt in bursts until liquid - take care not to overheat. Add Fragrance or Essential Oil and stir to combine well..
Step Two Keeping the jug low to the mould rim, carefully pour the soap into the mould cavitites.
Step Three As explained previously, if on hand, spray the surface with Isopropyl Alcohol to remove surface bubbles.
Now allow the soap to cool and set up fully before attempting to unmould.
Once cold, carefully release the air lock and then peel back the mould from the soap.
Step Four Done! Wrap or store in an airtight container jar.
