This innovative 2-piece silicone column mould makes a mini daisy shaped log that is amazingly easy to unmould. No more pushing until it feels like your fingers will break!
This mould is great for making embed soap shapes for use in our silicone loaf mould or cutting the log into pieces to decorate the tops of soap. Due to the length of our mini mould, extra support is needed for the mould to remain upright. We recommend using our heavy duty column mould or simply a tall glass to support the mould until your soap has hardened. The interlocking seal is easy to use, no clamps or bands are needed. And of course, since it is made of silicone, this mould makes it extremely easy to release your soap and wash.
As with most silicone moulds, your Cold Processed Soap may need an extra day or two to fully harden since the flexible silicone sides do not allow air inside the mould, which results in slower evaporation of water and hardening of your soap. The inclusion of Sodium Lactate Plus is recommended for a nice shiny finish and easier mould release.
Suitable for both Cold Process Soap and Melt and Pour Soap. I like to pour a couple of embed moulds when I make a Cold Process Soap batch so they are ready for embedding next soaping session. Melt and Pour Soap sets up quite quickly in these moulds and is ready to use after a couple of hours.
Please Note: To avoid any leaking make sure the interlocking seal is fully pressed together around the entire edge of the mould. We recommend hand washing your mould after use.
