Usage amount: The maximum usage rate for this flavour in lip products, according to IFRA Standards (50th Amendment) is 3.00%.
We recommend starting with approximately 2% of the total weight of lip balm or lipstick. This oil doesn't add a flavour on its own; this occurs when you add a dash of sweetness. To sweeten your balm, start with approximately 2% Sweet Lips (Lip Balm Sweetener). Add more flavour and sweetener until you reach the desired flavour and sweetness (please keep in mind the maximum usage rates as recommended by IFRA, and that the more flavour and sweetener is added, the softer the final product will be).
TIP: Let your lip balm cool to around 60°C - 63°C before pouring so the sweetener suspends evenly. Stir intermittently during pouring.
