3% Pure Neroli Essential Oil in Jojoba is suitable for direct application, and an economical way to purchase pure Neroli. This is a green, herbaceous Neroli Oil, and much used in high end perfumery. Though a white floral, it’s vibrant citrus notes shine through. It is also known as 'orange blossom essential oil’. It takes about 1000kg of blossom to make 1kg of pure Neroli Oil, but it’s aroma and beneficial properties make it so worth it!
It is much used in perfumery as well as aromatherapy. Our Neroli Essential Oil is extracted from the flowers of Citrus aurantium var. amara (also known as Citrus vulgaris and C. Bigardia) of the Rutaceae family.
In Aromatherapy Neroli is considered to have a soothing and relaxing effect on the nervous system and is traditionally used for stress, tension and anxiety. Neroli is also considered useful in skincare for stimulating cell growth and to help to rejuvenate and regenerate the skin. It is particularly useful when included in scar treatment oils, and just gorgeous in massage and facial preparations.
