Pure Petitgrain Essential Oil is extracted from the same tree as Neroli, but it smells distinctly different. Petitgrain is a leafy-green, fresh, light-floral citrus oil with a dry, slightly citrus undertone.
Petitgrain is a classic ingredient of Eau de Cologne, and is useful in many blends. It really sticks in Cold Process Soap, and if you are a green cleaner, a few drops into the washing up water, or when cleaning tiled floors keeps things smelling fresh and clean.
Blends well with: Benzoin, Bergamot, Cedarwood, Cardamom, Clary Sage, Clove, Geranium, Jasmine, Lavender, Melissa, Neroli, Oakmoss, Orange, Peru Balsam, Rosemary, Sandalwood, Ylang Ylang.
