- White Diamonds Sparkle Mica
- 2g or 40 drops Honeysuckle Heaven Fragrance or your preferred floral scent
- Liquid Pigment Dispersion - Deep Blue
- Budget-Wise Silicone Mixed Floral Mould
Equipment:
- 2 x 250ml microwave safe jugs (plastic or pyrex)
- Stirring sticks or spoons
- 2 x Pipettes with the tip cut off plus 1 more for fragrance
- Isopropyl Alcohol & Blue Spritz Bottle
- Powder Sprayer for mica
Method:
Dice the white soap base then place into a microwave safe jug and set aside.
...
Melt the small piece of clear soap in a microwave safe jug in 5 - 10 second bursts until liquid - avoid boiling.
Add Deep Blue Liquid Pigment Dispersion to the melted clear soap, mixing and adding until you reach a deep shade of blue.
Using a pipette with the tip cut off, squirt the coloured soap in a haphazard manner over the inside of the mould cavity.
While the first layer of coloured soap is setting up, melt the white soap base in 30 second to 1 minute bursts until liquid.
Add Deep Blue Liquid Pigment Dispersion to the melted white soap, mixing unil you reach a light pastel blue shade.
...
Now add fragrance and stir well to combine.
...
Spray the dark blue soap in the 2 cavities with Isopropyl Alcohol.
Now fill the mould cavities with the pastel blue soap, giving a quick spritz to the surface to eliminate bubbles.
...
Allow to set up completely before unmoulding.
...
Once unmoulded, spray a fine dusting of White Diamonds Sparkle Mica over the surface of the soap using the powder sprayer, wrap and store in an air tight container.
