This creamy coloured clay comes from clay pits in Brazil and contains high levels of potassium and trace elements that help to nourish and maintain the skin. Vanilla Brazilian Clay has a pH very similar to the skin's, and its forté is in purifying the skin and absorbing its impurities. This clay offers anti-aging properties for all skin types, as well as remineralizing and providing an ionic exchange for the skin.
Brazilian clays contain naturally occurring pigments, their colour being achieved by variations in mineral content and oligoelements found in the soil, therefore do not contain any synthetic dyes or pigments.
All our clays are totally natural and can be used alone, or blended together, and you can create gorgeous, naturally coloured soaps.

Cold Processed Soap: As this is a cream coloured clay, it's nice to use in a "blind swirl" in a vanilla fragrance based soap. 1 dessertspoon to 1 tablespoon per kilo of soap (swirling will use less). Mix into a slurry with either water or thinly traced soap before adding to soap prior to Fragrance or Essential Oils.
Melt & Pour Soap: 1 teaspoon per 500g of soap base (all types). Mix the clay to a slurry or paste with some water, Glycerine or Sodium Lactate Plus and gently stir into the melted soap.
