Clay - Brazilian Yellow

$6.00

SKU: CLB5

NEW

This soft yellow coloured clay comes from clay pits in Brazil, where the mineral content gives it this unique, vibrant yellow colour. This clay is a great way to add an all natural colour to your soap, as well as using it in scrubs, masks and mud packs.

In Spa and Skin Care products, Brazilian Yellow Clay offers high electrolyte exchange capacity, promotes purifying, astringent, and remineralizing actions.   This clay absorbs oils without dehydrating the skin.  Yellow Brazilian Clay is helpful when included in hair products as it offers hair smoothing and hair cuticle repair.

Brazilian clays contain naturally occurring pigments, their colour being achieved by variations in mineral content and oligoelements found in the soil, therefore do not contain any synthetic dyes or pigments.

All our clays are totally natural and can be used alone, or blended together, and you can create gorgeous, naturally coloured soaps using a combination of all our clays or just this clay alone. We have chosen to stock the Purple and Yellow Brazilian clays, as these two colours are unusual and unique, and together with our regular range of clays, you have a full colour palette to work with.
