Flexible Silicone Platinum Mould.
The flexibility of silicone makes unmoulding the soap so much easier! The inside of this mould has a high gloss finish, giving your soap a smooth, professional finish. The slightly translucent silicone makes it easy to see your layering or designs from the outside while making the soap. The sides are re-inforced externally to help prevent bowing, however, please see Tip 2 below to be sure!
Tip 1: If making Cold Process soap in this silicone mould we recommend adding Sodium Lactate Plus to your recipe. This will help to harden up your soap so that there won't be any dents or finger marks from unmoulding the soap. For best results, wait 48 hours before unmoulding.
Tip 2: This mould may bow a little if filled all the way to the brim. In our tests, filling 1 to 1.5cm from the top made unmoulding easier, and also didn't bow the sides. If you really need that extra height, lay a heavy book or weight wrapped in a towel on the top of the mould to weight it down and keep the sides from bowing in.
