Scotch Pine (it is actually from the Scots Pine, Pinus sylvestris) Essential Oil is distilled from the needles of this beautiful tree and is poles apart from the artificially scented, household cleaning fluids that bear its name. Though still recognisable as pine, this true Scots Pine Essential Oil has a smooth, fresh, dry-balsamic, coniferous-like aroma.
We can purify the air in our homes and offices with the pure, natural scent of a pine forest and add it to all to all washing water to clean floors and household surfaces. Pine is associated with clean and fresh homes and air, purification and clearing negative energy.
Large areas of Scotland are now being replanted with its native tree and hopefully this reforestation means that we will be able to source Scots Pine Oil from Scotland one day soon.
