This beginner level Rainbow Popsicle Melt & Pour Soap Recipe is perfect for a fun summer holiday activity! The ingredients supplied in the shopping cart will make two batches of four Popsicle soaps, with a little leftover ingredients for future projects!

Ingredients:

SFIC Shea Butter Melt & Pour Base
Rainbow Sherbet Fragrance Oil
BW Flex Mould - Popsicle ONE (supplied with 4 Popsicle sticks)
Blue Lagoon Mica
Saturn Mica
Salsa Red Mica
Isopropyl Alcohol & Spritz Bottle

Equipment:

3 x Long Spout Pouring Jugs
3 x Small Cups for mixing Micas
Stirring Spoons or Spatulas
Knife to cut the Soap Base
Pipettes for Fragrance Oil

Always ensure children are supervised, especially when handling hot soap and cutting.

Method:

Set out all the ingredients and equipment

Dice 360g of the soap base into 1 - 2cm cubes and add 120g of diced soap
base to each of the 3 pouring jugs.

Add ¼ teaspoon of Salsa Red Mica and ½ teaspoon of Isopropyl Alcohol in a small cup and stir well.
Repeat this process for Saturn Mica and Blue Lagoon Mica.

Melt each batch of soap base in the microwave and pour a colour solution into each jug

Stir well to combine

Add 4ml of Rainbow Sherbet Fragrance to each jug and stir to well combine. Place the mould on a rigid
baking sheet and insert a popsicle stick halfway into each cavity by piercing the slot at the bottom of each cavity.

Spray each cavity with Isopropyl Alcohol and begin pouring the soap making sure to alternate colours

Spray with Isopropyl Alcohol after each cavity has been filled

Allow to set up. Once completely set hard, unmould the soaps, and repeat the above steps to make your second batch.
