Calendula infused in Sunflower Oil.
Soothing, healing and antiseptic, Calendula is traditionally used for its ability to help heal wounds and abrasions, and to soothe red, irritated skin. The infusion is made by infusing the Calendula Petals (from the flowers) into oil.
Suitable for use in soaps, lotions, creams, lotion bars and salves. Use for sensitive and/or dry skin conditions and problem skin. This oil exhibits a wonderful golden yellow colour (depending on the season). Also useful in Lip Balms formulated for dry and chapped lips.
Suggested Usage Rate: 5 - 10%, can also be used directly on the skin (neat)
Suggested Uses:
- Include as part of the oil portion in balms, lotions and creams
- Include in after sun moisturisers and preparations
- Include in baby massage oils
- Include in lip products
Note: Seasonal crop variations with the Organic Flowers is resulting in fluctuations of colour with the Organic Calendula Oil. If you wish to colour your products we recommend including Carrot infused oil which produces a much darker orange coloured oil. We ensure the therapeutic profile is maintained over and above the golden colour of the oil.
