Our 4 fold Vanilla Oleoresin (Extract) is extracted from real vanilla beans, this oleoresin delivers a true, earthy vanilla profile with warm, resinous depth — much closer to whole vanilla pods than sweet “dessert-style” fragrances.
Because this is a true botanical extract (not a synthetic fragrance), the scent straight from the bottle can have a naturally sharp or alcohol-like top note. Once diluted or used in your formulation, this quickly softens and develops into the familiar creamy, vanilla character.
The 'fold' serves as a proportional measure of vanilla concentration; a greater fold signifies increased concentration.
