Palmarosa is botanically related to Lemongrass and Citronella, and is also known as the East Indian Geranium. It has a sweet, floral, rosy, geranium-like scent. It is often referred to as "poor man's rose" - personally I find this description a little vague in the comparison and like Palmarosa for its own scent and personality.
