Method:
In a large mixing bowl, add 281g of castile liquid soap, 169g of avocado oil, and 14g of calendula oil. Stir until completely combined. The liquids will take on a milky appearance.
Add 4.5ml of Revitalise pure essential oil blend and 4.5g of Liquid Germall® Plus preservative. Stir in completely. Note: We have included a preservative in this recipe as the product is likely to come into contact with water when being used, which could encourage bacteria and mould growth. The preservative is optional, but it will increase the longevity of the product, so we recommend using it.
In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together 309g of French kaolin clay, 9g of activated charcoal, and 100g of 200µm Olive Seed Powder until completely combined.
Add the clay mixture into the liquid mixture in about 3-4 batches, using a whisk to completely mix in. Adding the dry ingredients in batches helps to ensure the mixture is thoroughly combined, without making a mess.
Pour the scrub into jars, taking care to leave room for the internal seal. Lid, label, and enjoy!
To Use:
- Splash the skin with warm water.
- Using a clean cosmetic spatula, apply a small amount of the face polish to wet skin.
- Use gentle circular motions with your fingers to scrub and wash the face, neck and décolletage. Avoid the immediate eye area.
- Rinse off with warm water.
- Follow with your favourite serum and moisturiser.
