You have the choice of two moulds with this kit. If some of the slices are a bit squished, dip into water for 60 seconds and then place in the mould and allow to dry to shape before soaping.
Once the Loofah Slices are dry, and you have the ingredients set out you are ready to go.
Dice the soap base into 1 - 2 cm cubes.
Heat in short bursts as per the instruction sheet that comes with the kit.
Add fragrance and colour and stir well to combine.
Pour a few mm of soap base into the bottom of the mould cavity, through the Loofah Slice, and allow to set for a couple of minutes - this helps the slide to stay put!
Now top up all the cavities with soap until they are just at the rim of the mould.
If there are some obstinant slices that float, just use a stirrer to hold them down for a few minutes and they will stay in place.
Unmould when completely set up - usually an hour or so depending on the season and the soap temperature.
Wrap or store in an airtight jar.
IF USING OUR DISC MOULDS WITH LIDS
The preparation is the same as above.
Again, try and anchor the slice in the mould and then top up.
When completely cold and set up, pop on the lid - no need to wrap.
