Polysorbate 20 has good solubilising properties and is recommended as a mildness additive in aqueous (water based) systems for Baby Shampoo and as a cleansing agent in Wet Wipes.
This Solubiliser is the essential ingredient for making body and room sprays. It acts as a solubiliser, allowing the oil phase of your formula to disperse and fully incorporate into the water phase. Polysorbate allows the formulation of room sprays and body sprays that do not separate - it may take some tweaking of temperatures and ratio to achieve a completely clear product. If the milky look is something you wish to avoid we recommend a transluscent or opaque container.

Usage Rate: 2% - 7% - up to 1:1 for solublising Fragrances and Essential Oils, and as a co-emulsifier try keeping to between these figures.
