By using a Herbal Bath Bag, you can luxuriate in a warm tub full of oats and herbs and not be left with little bits sticking
to you and the bath when you pull the plug!   To avoid the "bits" floating in the bath (and sticking to you!) use our Large Heat Sealable Tea Bags.

(for irritated or sensitive skin)

(for a relaxing bath after a full day)

  • 2 cups of whole oats or ground oatmeal
  • ¼ cup Chamomile Flowers
  • ½ cup Lemon Balm
  • ½ cup Lavender Flowers
  • ¼ cup Passionflower (if you have them)
  • ¼ cup Rose Petals
  • 1ml/g Lavender 40/42 Essential Oil if desired


(for a lift after work or after gardening)

  • 2 cups of whole oats or oatmeal
  • ¼ cup Peppermint or Spearmint Leaves
  • ¼ cup Rosemary Leaves
  • ½ cup Lavender Flowers
  • ¼ cup Rose Petals
  • 1ml/g Lemon Essential Oil if desired


Mix botanicals together well. With the Soothing recipe, sprinkle the Jojoba and Essential Oil onto the Natrasorb powder and mix well again. For the other recipes, just sprinkle the essential oil over the mixture and then mix through well. It is a good idea to spot test first.

Spread this out onto a tray and alow to to rest for several hours or overnight. Place approximately one heaped tablespoon in each Large Heat Sealable Tea Bag and gently press the seam with a medium/hot iron to seal.

I prefer to store my herbal bath bags in an airtight glass jar until use and when ready to bath, just throw one into your running bath and allow the herbs and oats to infuse for 5 minutes or so and then discard the bag.
