In ancient Rome, clay was widely used to cleanse the body of impurities, while rejuvenating the skin. It's no surprise that today, we are still using this natural wonder to cleanse, purify and enrich our skin.
Clay is essential in promoting good skin health as it actively removes toxins, unclogs pores, and gently and naturally exfoliates. One of the most common ways to incorporate this product into your skincare regime is through clay face masks and scrubs. Explore our wide range of colour clays, each offering its own range of benefits. See our Free Recipe formulary for great clay recipes.
Bentonite Clay: Excellent for the treatment of oily skin and clogged pores, when mixed with water, Bentonite Clay acts as a magnet for impurities, pulling them out and leaving you with healthier and cleaner skin.
White Kaolin Clay: This mild clay is a great option for both dry and sensitive skin. In fact, it is so light, it’s safe for children to use as well, making it an excellent product for the whole family to enjoy. This great exfoliant clay can also be used in homemade soaps and hair shampoos.
Green Clays: Green Clays are ideal for normal to oily skin. This is because these clays actually reduce oiliness while getting rid of impurities, making it an ideal, natural treatment for acne. When mixed with white or cream clay, green clay will be mild enough to use on all skin types.
Rhassoul Ghassoul: Ghassoul is sourced directly from the Atlas Mountains in Morocco. This high-quality, soothing clay is often used in spas for skin and hair care. Often recommended as a substitution for shampoo, Rhassoul Ghassoul has proven useful for the prevention of dandruff and to nurture the skin of the head.
Pink Clays: Another mild clay range, pink clays can be used to treat acne, firming and tightening the skin, as well as providing much needed hydration, promoting moisture and elasticity in the skin.
