Jasmine & Jojoba Creamy Facial Serum Recipe

Our Jasmine & Jojoba Facial Serum is a powerful, calming and hydrating skin treatment with a delicate Jasmine aroma.

We included our Organic Carrot Infused Skin Healing Oil for its soothing properties, and our Pure Oat Oil Lipid to lock in moisture, but you can substitute them with approximately 5g/ml of whichever actives and luxury ingredients you'd like to achieve your desired outcome.

This formula fills 4 of our airless serum treatment pumps, and is simply luscious. You can adjust the thickness of this base by adjusting the Butter Easy in your formulation.

A little goes a long way, so pump a drop or two at a time and then gently apply.  Don't apply too close to the eyes as the oils gently spread over the skin over a couple of hours.

Ingredients:

• 40g Organic Golden Jojoba
• 10g Butter Easy (Cosmetic Sunflower Wax)
• 2.5g Organic Carrot Infused Skin Healing Oil
• 2.5g Pure Oat Oil (Lipid)
•   1g/ml (20 drops) Jasmine Absolute 3% in Jojoba

Equipment:

• 4 x 15ml Airless Treatment Pumps
• 1 x 250ml Glass Beaker
• 1 x 5 pack Disposable Pipettes
• 1 x Stirring stick or spoon
• Digital Scales - Preferred, but general measuring can be done with the pipettes

Method: 

• Prepare work surface and set out ingredients.
• Measure the Jojoba and Butter Easy into the beaker.

• Gently warm in a double boiler system, or in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time - the Butter Easy melts quite quickly.
• Stir gently to combine well, then add the Jasmine Absolute 3% in Jojoba, the Carrot Infused Oil and Pure Oat Oil (or your preferred skin healing actives) and stir again.

• Take a clean pipette and fill the airless pump bases right up to the shoulder, to ensure a good vacuum forms when lidded. Although the 250ml beaker has a pouring lip, we recommend using pipettes to avoid getting serum into the thread.

• When you have finished mixing, carefully place the pump mechanism (lid) onto the bases. 
• Don't over-tighten the lids on the bases as this will cause cracking. 
• Label and you are done!
